As with all other Alpha®
products the Alpha® P-POD™ Liner surrounds the residual
limb in a layer of skin friendly, mineral oil-based gel that contains
Vitamin E. Alpha® P-POD™ Liners are sized with young
amputees in mind bringing comfort to young amputees for the first
time.
Alpha® P-POD™
Liners are made with our custom-made Alpha® MAX fabric, which
is three times more abrasion-resistant than many other liners
on the market and helps to increase the durability around the
trim lines and other common wear areas.

Introducing the P-POD
Paediatric Prosthetic and Orthotic Devices.
Designing and manufacturing paediatric products requires more
than just taking adult components and making them smaller. The
research and development team spent a great deal of time studying
how children walk in the various stages of physical development.
The P-POD components were tested vigorously in the lab and then
evaluated by a helpful group of field testers. All P-POD feet
and components have been ISO-tested to a patient weight limit
of 132lbs.
The exciting new products are just the beginning
for the P-POD family of products. In the months and years to come,
we hope to add additional new components to give paediatric patients
the best possible function to be able to live their lives to the
fullest. From the infant who needs the protective cushioning of
the Alpha Liner while he is learning to crawl, to the youngster
