Foot
The Impulse™ Foot brings high-tech performance
to lower cost feet. This unique, value-priced foot consists of
a composite foot plate attached to a Kevlar®/nylon keel. The
foot plate is composed of the new, high-performing composite material
that recently made the Pathfinder™ Foot the most awarded
prosthetic foot in years. Amputees who have tried the Impulse™
instantly praise the flexibility and toe response. Prosthetists
are amazed by the high energy return, ease of adjusting alignments,
and the affordable price. Featuring a recessed keel, the Impulse™
can be used for endoskeletal, exoskeletal, or Symes applications.
The Impulse™ Ankle is the perfect companion to the Impulse™
Foot. The performance of this combination far exceeds that of
many more expensive foot/ankle combinations on the market today.
The Impulse™ foot carries a weight limit of up to 350 pounds
(160 kg).

Ankle
“Adjusted Body Weight” is the amputee’s
body weight plus any loads carried normally or routinely by the
amputee. The weight limit for the Impulse™ Foot and the Impulse™
Ankle is 300 lbs (136 kg) for Level 4 amputees. The Impulse™
Symes Foot is rated to 250 lbs (115 kg).
