Liz had a skiing accident in
1997 that resulted in the loss of her leg below the knee. She was a keen
skier and didn't let the accident stop her from continuing the sport she
loves. Two years after the accident Liz was back on the skiing slope with
a prosthetic leg specifically for skiing made by the opcare Prosthetic
Centre in Bournemouth. Liz has now progressed into doing competitive skiing
and is doing very well. Liz is an inspiration to everybody and she needs
as many sponsors as possible to keep up her sport. The good news is that
Liz has been pre-selected for the Para Olympics 2006. You can follow the
